About Kristin
I’m a coach, writer and artist.
A long time ago, I was miserable in my first (and only) office job. So I quit – and started working as a gardener. I didn’t know anything about plants, but I loved it: learning how to tend each species, understanding that they were all interconnected as part of a whole. Fifteen years later, this reverence for ecological systems still shapes everything I do.
The winding path to coaching continued, and I’ve been stuck, lost (and found) more times than I can count. I’ve been a journalist, activist, theater artist and facilitator, using art and storytelling as catalysts for transformation.
I’m also a graduate of the Hakomi Institute, a method of deep inner work rooted in mindfulness and somatic inquiry.
Together, ecology, creative work and somatics inform my coaching approach, which is both playful and embodied, balancing focused action with attention to the present moment.
